What We Do

Lenuco is developing a revolutionary energy source capable of providing clean and affordable energy. The energy source is generated thorough Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR). The company is investigating various materials and developing prototypes. These prototypes are capable for providing heat and electricity for various applications.

Our Team

Dr. George Miley

Title

George H. Miley is a professor emeritus of physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Dr. Miley is a Guggenheim Fellow and Fellow of the American Nuclear Society, the American Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He was Senior NATO Fellow from 1994 to 1995, received the Edward Teller Medal in 1995, the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Science Award in Fusion Technology in 2003 and the Radiation Science and Technology Award in 2004. He holds several patents. Dr. Miley coordinates the research and development of the Lenuco Champaign Team.

Dr. KyuJung Kim

Title

Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. degree in Technical Science from the Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of National Academy of Sciences at Minsk, Belarus in 2000. He began working for LG Electronics as a Chief Research Engineer and managed various projects with collaboration of international teams from academia in Japan, China, Russia and USA. Since 2007, Dr. Kim has been a Visiting Research Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has co-authored 8 peer reviewed journals, 33 conference proceedings and a co-inventor of 131 patents. Dr. Kim coordinates the research and development of the Lenuco Champaign Team.

Matthew Bergschneider

Title

Matt Bergschneider received his B.S in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016. He specializes on the design and implementation of LENR experiments. This includes testing various materials and reactor designs.

Shriji Barot

Title

Shriji Barot is pursuing his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Univesity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Shriji Barot specializes in data analysis and heat transfer of the prototype reactor systems.

Erik Ziehm

Title

Erik Ziehm is pursuing a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a double major; a B.S. in Engineering Physics and in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Erik Ziehm specializes in plasma material interactions along with using COMSOL simulation software. He also is experienced in various analysis techniques including (S)TEM, SEM, FIB, ICP-MS, and TDS.

Jacob Meyer

Title

Jacob Meyer is pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his M.S. in Material Science in xxx. Jacob specializes on material analysis using various techniques including SEM, TEM, AFM, TGA, others.

Tapan Patel

Title

Tapan Patel received his M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2012, and 2010, respectively. He specializes in heat transfer calculations of the prototype reactor systems.
